After nine years of serving our Lord as my personal Kinsman Redeemer, one morning during worship He finally got His message through to me! “If not you, then who? Who will I send to reach out to others in your circumstance? I have prepared you for this and now it is time to reach out.” In the span of just a few minutes, a new clarity of vision and purpose overtook me that I had not experienced in the nine years of ministry since my husband’s passing.

The Father’s heart of compassion began to pound within me as I began to identify specific challenges and needs that I had encountered over the past years. How many women have faced and are facing these same issues and how are we as the body of Christ responding to their spiritual, emotional and financial needs?

After a brief Moses’ moment of trying to convince our Lord that this was more vision than I could manage, I sensed Him asking, “What do you have in your hands and what do you hold in your heart? What has given you restored hope?”

1.Revelation of and personal relationship with Him as my Kinsman Redeemer. No fairy-tale prince for me…the reality of His love as my Husband has been the miracle that has carried me through the darkest places in this journey.

2.Experiencing emotional healing and deliverance through a variety of means, but especially during the hours spent in unrestricted worship before His throne.

3. Discovering of a path…a two-lane highway of faith and work…that produces a new measure of financial stability and freedom from the oppression of not having enough to meet my needs.

Ministry will be provided that supports the restoration of the widow on all levels. Spiritual and emotional healing will be pursued through individualized avenues including prayer, counseling, worship experiences, creativity and the arts. Practical guidance will be offered in financial matters – how to increase earning capacity and uncapping creativity through additional education, acquiring new job skills if necessary, developing entrepreneurial opportunities and/or cottage industry income to supplement and meet income requirements. She will also learn foundational principles in financial planning for her future.

Prayer – Unless the Lord builds this house, we would be laboring in vain. We are committed to moving forward under the leadership of His Holy Spirit in His perfect timing, while bathing this vision in prayer. We humbly ask your support - to seek Him with us for all wisdom and understanding related to translating the vision into reality.

Commitment – Relationships & Time! From within and without Wings of Worship….relationship building will require time 1) to link ourselves with talented individuals and network with related ministries and 2) to establish a personal, trusted level of friendship with the beneficiaries of this outreach.
