And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host
of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth,
and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his
servant?
(Joshua 5:14 KJV)
Revelation
for this flag came to our pastor's wife, Donna Kelly, in a dream within
a dream, where our Lord appeared to her requesting that a flag be made
to honor Him as Jehovah Sabaoth (The LORD of Hosts), the Warrior King.
He gave her the word "gradient" in reference to the density of
the red tone and showed her the design. The corners of the flag were
black and the center was a red circular design, moving from a deep red
at the outer edges to almost white in the center. He directed her to
call us and have us make the flag.
This flag has become a mighty weapon of war
heralding Him as our victorious King. Shades of scarlet were worn in
battle to disguise wounds so that the enemy could not spot a weakness
and go after it. The shed blood of Jesus washes our sins and we become
white as snow. Sanctification is an on-going process, hence the
gradation of red, working toward white in the center. Black denotes sin,
satan, and the gross darkness over the earth.
The red also symbolizes the blood of the Lamb,
which, with the word of our testimony, overcomes the accuser of the
brethren, as we do "not love (our) lives to the death."
(Revelation 12:11)
The word for testimony used here is "marturion"
which means proof, evidence, witness, proclamation of personal
experience. It is the root word for martyr. A martyr is one who is put
to death or endures great suffering on behalf of any principle, belief
or cause. Jesus was our Martyr, Who endured great suffering and being
put to death so that we would be redeemed from eternal death. The key to
our overcoming as the end time church is appropriating the victory of
the finished work of Christ, public confession of our faith and a
patient endurance, even to the point of facing martyrdom, if necessary.
As we worship our Warrior King, we are exalting
Him for BEING our Victory. We are proclaiming Him as the Word of our
testimony. It is His blood that we plead over circumstances and
situations. Knowing our personal inadequacy, we are asking Him to arise
as our Mighty Warrior and go before us today to route the enemy.
