The following vision
came during worship with the congregation at Beit Immanuel (House of God
With Us) in Tel Aviv, Israel – October 6, 2000.
The people of the congregation became as
golden wheat stalks blowing gracefully in the Wind as we flowed in
worship, bowing and bending before Jesus.
It reminded me somewhat of Joseph’s dream with the sheaves of
wheat bowing down before the one chosen by God.
As
we continued in worship, a peace rose sprouted and grew out of each
stalk of wheat. The peace
roses had beautiful yellow petals with soft shades of red at their
edges. The roses opened gently and continued to move and bow with
the Wind in worship of Jesus. As
worship continued to go forth, the “wheat-roses” bowed very low and
began to drop their petals at the feet of Jesus.
The
music and singing endured and there was a brief pause in the vision as I
was drawn into a new level of worshipping Jesus, our Lord of the
Harvest. A few minutes
passed and the vision resumed. All
the rose petals had fallen at the feet of our Lord, and now as the wheat
stalks bowed down, the grain dropped from the heads of the wheat to the
ground. New shoots sprouted up, but as this wheat came forth, the
heads of each stalk were now wrapped in peace rose petals.
The
cycle of worship continued…“wheat-roses” bowing in
adoration…dropping petals and grain…but now as the wheat kernels
dropped to the ground, some stayed on the ground and began to take root,
but birds began to come and carry off some of the seeds.
The birds flew away in many directions.
I began to see a “peace-wrapped” harvest springing up in
Russia, Egypt, China, Europe, India, Korea, Philippines, Australia,
United States and Alaska, Canada, South America, Panama, Africa,
Newfoundland, Turkey, and some small un-named islands.
There
was a strong sense that although Israel is in the middle of great
national turmoil and is being visited by an intimidating spirit of fear,
as worship continues to go forth and the people continue to honor Jesus
and focus on Him, our Prince of Peace will graft Himself as Shalom into
this generation of the kingdom harvest.
As they continue to die to themselves and offer this sacrifice to
Him, the new generation of the harvest will come forth already wrapped
in His Shalom nature. And
as that generation of the harvest moves in worship before Him, also
dying to themselves, a third generation of the peace-enveloped harvest
will spring up in the nations across the globe.
The wonderful promise in this vision is a harvest of souls who
know Him and love Him with such beauty in worship that they will be so
supernaturally encased in His protective peace that they will not be
shaken or moved by anything but Him.
NO FEAR will overtake them as they steadfastly keep their hearts
toward Him.
“Then
Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their
synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every
sickness and every disease among the people.
But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for
them, because they were weary and scattered `,
like sheep having no shepherd. Then
He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the
laborers are few. Therefore
pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Matthew 9:35-38 NKJV (*Indicates
words from various translations of the same verse.)
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us
a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6 NKJV
“And
the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.”
