The Call Nashville 07.07.07

Is God raising up a Fasting, Prayer & Worship Army? Saturday there was no doubt that God is doing an amazing thing in the USA. Thousands joined the prayer walk thru Nashville to the Stadium that morning. 50,000 people streamed into Titan's Stadium to spend the day Fasting, repenting and crying out to God in the hot sun for a massive youth revival!

   

A spirit of repentance fell upon the crowd as Lou Engle called forth the solemn assembly  out of Joel 1:14 "Consecrate a fast, Proclaim a solemn assembly; Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord".  First Nations people led the Opening of the Ceremony as the different people groups presented themselves before the Lord.  The Shofar horns blew as the Assembly began! What a powerful time as Thousands humbled themselves, repented, cried out to God, rent their hearts, worshipped and prayed as various unnamed leaders led the throng. Joel 2:12 - 17 was the order of the day. "Yet even now," declares the LORD,  "Return to Me with all your heart,  And with fasting, weeping and mourning;  And rend your heart and not  your garments " Now return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in loving-kindness And relenting of evil.  Who knows whether He will not turn and relent And leave a blessing behind Him, Even a grain offering and a drink offering For the LORD your God?  Blow a trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly,  Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and the nursing infants  Let the bridegroom come out of his room  And the bride out of her bridal chamber. Let the priests, the LORD'S ministers,  Weep between the porch and the altar, And let them say, "Spare Your people, O LORD, And do not make Your inheritance a reproach,  A byword among the nations  Why should they among the peoples say, Where is their God?'"

 

        Later in the day many made vows of intimacy with Jesus as their Bridegroom King, to devote themselves to Him alone. Corporate communion was taken and three weddings were performed as a prophetic act  and symbol of God as our Husband (ISHI as found in Hosea 2:16 -23)

   

The evening was full of praise,  worship and rejoicing in our God. The field was full of radical young worshippers pouring themselves out for Jesus! Freedom was being proclaimed and many of us from all generations entered in with the youth!

  

The evening was concluded with a sound sent up to the Heavens. As in Judges 7:19-22 when God instructed Gideon to make a sound which brought confusion in the camp of the enemy. Three hundred shofar blowers marched to the front. Everyone in the stadium got out their Keys. Ricky Skaggs lead the huge throng with Seven trumpet blows from the shofar horn. The sound of clanging KEYS was made to symbolize the sound of swords being unsheathed and then the 300 horns began to blow as a roar arose like I had never heard before. Among the roar  the people cried out to their God to receive their petitions. The final request was given as The Leaders asked the Lord to release a renaissance of the arts to the body of Christ for the Glory of God, to  take back the music industry, the media and the arts for His Kingdom.

May a new Spiritual Awakening Begin!!!!
