The Lord Breaks
Through $125
Baal Perazim is another name
for our Lord, which means "The Lord Breaks Through" (2 Samuel
5:20).
David knew the LORD as "Yahweh
Who Breaks Through" when he defeated the Philistines at Baal
Perazim.
When we need a breakthrough in any
situation, we proclaim our Lord as our Baal Perazim, acknowledging that
He is our Breakthrough God.
Our Lord has promised to inhabit our
praises. As we worship Him, His presence comes forth as might rushing
waters, and in Him there is healing, peace, deliverance, life and
salvation. See Ezekiel 47.
Many scriptures refer to our
Lord in the context of water. Renewal songs about the River of
Life continue to wind their way into our hearts. It is important
in the midst of celebrating the River of Life that we remember the
River is not a thing from our Lord but the River IS our Lord, the
Holy Spirit.
If any man thirst, let him
come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture
hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (John
7:37,38)
